Periodontal Care

Did you know that periodontal disease, also known as gum disease, is the leading cause of tooth loss? Periodontal disease has been linked to chronic conditions like diabetes, and may even be associated with an increased risk of a stroke. The first sign of gum disease is gingivitis, which is seen in patients with red gums that bleed when they brush and floss. Gingivitis can be treated by a professional dental cleaning, but if left untreated, will progress to periodontal disease. The best way to prevent and treat periodontal disease is to catch it early.

We offer a variety of periodontal services in our offices, so please call us today to schedule your appointment.

Root Canals

Root canals have a notorious reputation that modern technology is quickly reversing. If the pulp, or inner portion, of your tooth has an infection that warrants a root canal treatment, Dr. Connor’s expertise will help you to feel comfortable and free from pain throughout your care.

Are you curious about modern root canal therapy? Call us today at 262-201-4718 to schedule your complimentary consultation.

Teeth Grinding

Do you experience headaches, or worn, chipped or cracked teeth, as a result of grinding? Teeth grinding, or bruxism, can be painful and destructive to your TMJ (temporomandibular joint) and your teeth. If you grind your teeth, Dr. Connor can make a custom-fitted nightguard to protect your smile and minimize your discomfort. She’ll also help you determine possible causes for your teeth grinding and offer strategies to save your teeth from further damage. Call (262) 201-4718 to schedule your consultation today.

Restorative Dentistry

Wales Family Dental offers a range of treatments to fully restore the natural look and function of damaged, diseased or missing teeth. Dr. Connor and her team are here to help you regain a healthy and beautiful smile with extractions, custom crowns, implants and dentures (including all-on-4 hybrid prostheses). With our expert touch, we’ll give your smile new life.

Tooth extraction is encouraged only as a last resort, but may be necessary in the situation where a patient has a severely damaged tooth or very crowded mouth.

Crowns are tooth-shaped fittings that cover damaged teeth, improving the strength, function and appearance of your smile. If you have a cracked or damaged tooth, Dr. Connor can fit you with a tooth-colored zirconia or porcelain crown.

If more than one tooth needs repair, a bridge prosthetic might be a better solution. Call (262) 347-4084 to schedule a consultation with Dr. Connor, and she’ll help you choose the solution that works best for you!

At Wales Family Dental, we offer dental implants and dentures (including all-on-4 hybrid prostheses) to give you back a healthy, natural-looking smile. When you meet with Dr. Connor, she’ll help you understand all of your options so that you can choose the best treatment for you. Call (262) 201-4718 to start the process.

Sedation Dentistry

If you’re an extra-anxious patient, or require complex dental care, Dr. Connor can ease your discomfort with nitrous oxide also known as “laughing gas”. Nitrous oxide is a common sedative used by dentists because it’s safe, effective and easy to administer. After inhaling a pre-measured amount, you will remain fully awake, but totally relaxed throughout the treatment. The effect wears off quickly once the mask is removed.
